Hand/coil built with micaceous clay; a clay similar to Indian pottery from around Northern New Mexico. This clay, having a special glitter that comes from the high mica content, is from the Manzano Mountains in Albuquerque, NM. The vase has been carved with a motif of fish swimming underwater while the geckos roam the land.
