Uniquely Handcrafted Ceramic Art
Home of the Wobbly Pot
Welcome to the Seadrift Gardens website where you will find a variety of handcrafted ceramic art. Seadrift Gardens is an evolving project combining two of my greatest passions.... pottery and gardening. Ironically both involve mud.
Just as development in Seadrift with our wildlife gardening continues to evolve, so does my pottery. I have worked in clay for over 30 years experimenting with various techniques and exploring ideas. I am especially intrigued with the endless possibilities of clay which is why you will find an extended range of style in my work. Each piece made at Seadrift Gardens Pottery is unique with it's own personality created through form and design. I also like exploring different clay types, and am fascinated with micaceous clay mined in New Mexico which I use for creating my clay cookware pieces. All work is made in small handcrafted batches.
Please explore my online shop for available work. You may also contact me with any questions you have about my pottery, or commission work as well as our continuing wildlife development project. I hope you enjoy the variety. Thank you for visiting.
