This set of talls vases is created from red micaceous clay; a clay similar to Indian pottery from around Northern New Mexico. This clay, having a special glitter that comes from the high mica content, is from the Manzano Mountains in Albuquerque, NM. Each vase has been hand built, carved and burnished. Like three different friends, each has it's own personality.
